Climbing Orchid- August In Color CLub

Hello everyone! Today I want to share this month's In Color Club cards. I think they're beautiful! I used the Climbing Orchid bundle to create them.

I've told you before how much I love making the In Color Club Cards- this month was no exception. This sam set can be a little intimidating, but once you make one, it starts to make sense and then it's a cinch! Look how neat the orchid looks in each color. I did each of them in the same color ink as cardstock. You can see each name on the photo.

So, which one is your favorite? I think Berry Burst is one. Or maybe Tranquil Tide.... I love them all!
I also used the In Color Woven Ribbon, the Stitched Shapes Framelits and the Layered Leaves Dynamic Textured Embossing Folder. You can find them all in my online store here.
Thanks for stopping by!

Coffee Break Chocolate Treats Video Tutorial

Hello everyone! I've got a new tutorial for you today that features a coffee flavored chocolate. It's the same chocolate I used in the super cute treats I showed on my Facebook Group last week. I included them in my Coffee Break Class to Go as a thank you.

Unfortunately, I've realized they are very hard to find. They are actually made by our local (Texas) grocery store called HEB. So, for those of you who have access to HEB, these will be great for you. If that's not you, I think these could easily be adapted to use a Giradeli Chocolate square.

My color scheme was based on the packaging on the little chocolates- Pumpkin Pie and Early Espresso.  I also used the copper trim that you can find in the Annual Catalog. Barely visible behind the coffee cup is the Coffee Break DSP.

In the video below, you will find the full details on the chocolate. Here is package so you can see it's a flat chocolate square.

Now, I originally started making these for my downline meeting. I was going to use them as my swaps. But then...

I got my Holiday Catalog preorder in and just HAD to use the new coffee stamp set called Merry Cafe (it coordinates with the same framelits and is a great addition to that bundle if you already have it!) along with the new DSP called Painted Autumn.

They're made the exact same way, except I used the larger coffee cup this time. I used two different ribbons also. Here, I used Peekaboo Peach Striped Ribbon.

I didn't have enough of the Peekaboo Ribbon for all of them, so I also used the Pumpkin Pie Stitched Ribbon. I also added a piece of a coffee stir stick to each cup. Just snipped off the ends and added them with a glue dot!

Now, you can find the full details for the first project in the video below. I made the video before I made the second version of these so you will only see the first sample in the video. The  products in the fall coffee treat won't be available until September 1st- unless you purchase the Starter Kit! Everyone who purchases a Starter Kit in August can choose form the Holiday Catalog as well!

This set is seriously beautiful. It is designed to give you a watercolor look. It is a two set stamp, which means you stamp one stamp first and then a second layer stamp over it to give it more depth. Here, I actually did some fussing cutting to give it even MORE depth.

And who would have thought Lemon Lime Twist would look good with Pumpkin Pie, huh? It does!! It's such a fun color!

I know many of you are going to ask me for the tutorial for this box, but it's part of this exclusive PDF that comes with these two classes! It's a perk when you buy both! Look how FUN and cute they are! When you buy both, you save on shipping too!

Pick a Pumpkin- Sneak Peek!!

Hey everybody! Are you ready for a sneak peek?? I've been busy getting the 2017 Holiday Catalogs labeled and ready to ship out to you all. I also have been busy prepping for next month's classes! This card was one of my creations! i LOVE this new set called Pick a Pumpkin.

I love pumpkins. I mean, ALOT! I buy lots of pumpkin as soon as they arrive at the grocery store in September and keep them all the way through Thanksgiving. So, this set was a big draw for me. The best part- matching framelits!! Yes! And, you can't really see it well, but, that's a gourd on the right side. Love gourds too!

I can't wait for September to get here so I can run and get my pumpkins! The other stamps I used here are the Burlap background stamp and the sentiment from Big on Birthdays. Both are in the Annual catalog and are available now!
The Pick a Pumpkin bundle will be available September 1st.

If you have ordered from me (from my Stampin' Up online store) in the last 6 months, you will automatically get a catalog in the mail from me this month. But, if you haven't and you don't already have a Demonstrator, I'd be happy to send you one too! Just shoot me an email with your mailing address!
